Ferdinand de Lesseps: Entre terra i Mar

Ferdinand de Lesseps (1805-1894) was a French diplomat and administrator famous for the construction of the Suez Canal. But more notably is what he did as consul general to protect the city of Barcelona and its inhabitants during the bloody insurrection in Catalonia.

To celebrate the 200th anniversary of his birth, the French Consulate and the Maritime Museum of Barcelona organized an exhibit “Ferdinand de Lesseps: Entre terra i Mar.”

Colectivo Piloto worked on the staging of this exhibit along with the curator Yasmina Boudhar and the producer Marcal Signaletique.
