The Global Learning for an Open World Conference (GLOW) is taking place on November 18, 19, 2022 virtually and is open and free to attend.

Educators, innovators and researchers will have the opportunity to spend 30 hours around-the-clock to explore ways to help learners develop global competencies. From preparing them for active global citizenship, to increasing opportunities for cross-border collaboration, GLOW ensures educational equity and opportunity for all. Use this link to register.

I will be representing Colectivo Piloto educational initiatives at GLOW, talking about the importance of multimedia programs in education to advance students’ critical thinking through inclusive multimedia storytelling. Teaching and practicing multimedia storytelling from early ages is crucial to give the world's youth a voice in shaping global challenges.

GLOW is organized and promoted by Actionable Innovations, a collaborative, dynamic, worldwide professional community of educators who believe that learning at all levels should embody action and innovation.

Learning embodies action by engaging teachers and learners in meaningful applications of knowledge and abilities: experiential learning, hands-on and maker learning, challenge- and project-based learning, place-based learning, social-emotional learning, universal design for learning and accessibility, the development of global competence and civics, and learning that pursues the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Learning embodies innovation by embracing emerging technologies and tools, incorporating new research and discoveries in neuroscience and developmental psychology, and practicing creative teaching and learning strategies being developed around the world.

Actionable Innovations Global partners with Global Youth Action Network, part of TakingITGlobal.

I will be presenting at GLOW on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 12:30 PM (EST). Use this link to register.
